*Member Services (Front Desk)

A position in the Member Services department consists mainly of office work. Responsibilities include handling rental room/campsite reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, disseminating information to other departments, answering phones, taking messages and providing local area information. They need to be positive, friendly, organized, neat, pleasant, good communicators, detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.

Guardhouse

The Guardhouse personnel admit members and visitors into the resort and handle RV check-ins. The working environment includes both indoor and outdoor work, and individuals are required to perform duties during times of extreme heat and inclement weather. Exceptional customer service and communication skills both verbal and written are required.

*Food Service

Food Service employees take meal orders, prepare food, clean the kitchen, stock supplies, and assist the Member Services staff. Basic food handling, preparation and cooking skills are a plus. Must be able to withstand the pressure and strain of working in close quarters, standing for hours at a time, lifitng heavy pots and boxes, and working near hot ovens and grills. Good public relations skills and creativity are essential.

Housekeeping

The housekeeper’s primary responsibility is keeping the resort facilities and rental rooms clean. General cleaning, mopping, laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing and dusting are routine duties. They need to be diligent workers who are tidy, organized and very detail oriented. Valid driver's license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.

Maintenance

Maintenance workers handle all the grounds keeping duties, as well as building maintenance, general plumbing/carpentry work and pool maintenance. They need to be hard working, friendly, and responsible, follow directions, work independently and do some heavy lifting. Valid driver's license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.

Activities

Activity department positions range from manning the paddleboats to aiding in organizing events for all age groups. The job requires good public relations work and a good attitude towards people. They need to be organized, responsible and able to follow directions. Lots of energy, exuberance and a little craziness are required! Valid driver's license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.

*Park Ranger

Park Rangers are in charge of the protection of the resort and its members. Their responsibilities take place primarily at night. Either experience or some formal schooling in law enforcement or security work is preferred. They must be physically fit, honest, of good character and able to handle any emergency situations that arise. The job also requires good public relations skills and a friendly, helpful, outgoing nature. Valid driver's license required for full-time year-round employment with continuing employment contingent upon driving record passing a yearly insurance inspection.

Dress Code
Staff shirts/name tags provided. Jeans are permissible for most positions.
